A proactive approach
As a citizen corporate, FYM Profilés Plastique has a proactive environmental policy. Aware of the constraints linked to the manufacturing of plastic profiles, FYM Profilés Plastique is a forerunner in its business areas and strives to minimize its impact on the environment by reducing its energy consumption, by improving its organization (order and cleanliness) and by minimizing and recycling its generated waste.
Plastics and the environment
Plastic products contribute to the protection of the environment: Thanks to their lightness and resistance, plastics allow the reduction of resource consumption and the reduction of pollution (100 kg of plastic replace 200 to 300 kg of traditional materials). Once recycled, the plastic is reborn in a new form to start a new career. The energy recovery from waste produces electricity and heating. Without plastic, there would be no renewable energy. Sturdy and weather resistant, plastic can be used to make wind turbines and solar panels.
A daily concern
Our priority is to reduce the impact of its activities on our environment, and to prevent any risk of pollution. The protection of the environment is therefore a concern that has accompanied FYM Profilés Plastique since its creation. Preventive actions have been implemented on a regular basis to preserve the environment as well as the living environment of the residents.
